I will trust in you, oh God. You are my rock and my strength. You are my refuge in times of trouble. You will lead me and guide me when I cannot determine my way. You will protect me from the evil one. In you will I trust and place my hope. You are my deliverer; my Savior, my redeemer, my comforter. In you will I place my faith; to lead me and guide me; to direct my paths and make them straight.

Why will America come under God's judgement and wrath in the days ahead?

It is not just because of greed, corruption and murders(abortions), but also because Christians are lukewarm; afraid to take a stand publicly to fight for our Christian heritage. They are afraid of being politically incorrect. It may cost them their reputation in the public marketplace or they could face lawsuits by gay rights groups, abortion groups, the government or corporate America resulting in loss of employment and even prison.

I have a warning for the cowardly!
"But for the COWARDLY [emphasis mine...ed.] and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolators and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." [the death experienced at the judgement of all at the end of the age...ed.] Revelation 21:8 NAS
Notice that Jesus Christ lumps the cowardly with liars, murderers and unbelievers. Pretty harsh judgement! He hates the cowardly and the lukewarm.
'I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I would[wish..ed.] that you were cold or hot. 'So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth. 'Because you say, "I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing," and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked, 'I advise you to buy from Me gold refined by fire, that you may become rich, and white garments, that you may cloth yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness my be not be revealed; and eyesalve to anoint your eyes, that you may see. 'Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; be zealous therefore, and repent. Revelation 3:15-19 NAS.

'Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and He with me. 'He who overcomes, I will grant him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. 'He who has an ear, let him hear what the spirit says to the churches.'" Revelation 3:20-22 NAS
Would you rather risk the fires of hell by compromise or risk loss of your job to stand publicly as a Christian? Are willing to be opposed, villified and hated, mocked and slandered in the nations press to stand for Christian values. A very difficult choice if you are married with a family to support, but this is the dilemma that more and more Christians will face as the Illuminati plan for global government and the take down of America moves forward. There will be a cost to stand up and be counted as a Christian as the government campaign to demonize Christians, "Tea Party'ers" and veterans kicks into high gear. Some will have to sacrifice more than others. Some will eventually have to sacrifice their earthly lives for eternal life. How committed are you to everlasting life? I Pray that our Lord, Jesus Christ is your rock of strength and your refuge when your hour of trial arrives.

Before its end as a nation, there appeared in ancient Israel a series of specific omens and signs warning of it's destruction. We have have seen the first harbinger of God's judgement to fall on this nation on 9/11. Each of Israel's judgments were more severe until God's patience ran out and the nation was destroyed and ceased to exist until resurrected on May 14, 1948.

We must look to ancient Israel's history to see clues of how God uses other nations to judge his own people. God hates apostasy, the cowardly and fearful.

The ancient Assyrians began their rise to power in the first century B.C. when they began their conquest of surrounding lands and people.
"The Assyrians would march into Babylon, Syria, Lebanon, Persia, and Egypt until, at the peak of their power, most of the ancient Middle East was under their rule. With the largest army ever to stand on Mesopotamian soil up to that time they inspired dread throughout the ancient world.(1)

Why such dread? Because the Assyrians made terror into a science. They systematized it, perfected it, and employed it as no other people or kingdom had ever done before. They burned cities to the ground, mutilated their prisoners, flayed alive those who rebelled against them, and nailed their skins to the wall for public display. The Assyrians were the masters of terror.(2)

It was the dark shadow of Assyrian terror that once loomed over the kingdom of Israel. This was the danger against which the ancient prophets of Israel warned. And it was only the hedge of God's protection that was keeping the danger at bay."(3)
However in 732 B.C., God lifted his hedge of protection from the kingdom of Israel when they were invaded by the Assyrians. God used another nation, Assyria to judge the ancient people of Israel for their apostasy, and fearfulness. The Lord God would later bring the Assyrians under judgment for their ferocious acts of terror against ancient Israel.
In 732 B.C. "Israel's enemies invade the land and wreak havoc. The calamity traumatizes the nation. But it takes place on a limited scale. The enemy strikes and then withdraws. It's a foreshadowing of something greater and much more severe--a warning.... a harbinger of a future judgement so great that if it ever came to pass the nation would never recover."(4)
It is interesting to note the similarities between Ancient Israel and the Assyrians and the United States and present day terrorists.
"The ancient Assyrians are the 'Fathers of Terrorism', and those who mercilessly plotted out the calamity on 9/11 were their spiritual children. In the history of the kingdom of Israel and the United States God's warning began with a manifestation of terrorism.(5)

The Assyrian invasion would ultimately draw ancient Israel into military conflict, war, and a final and tragic national drama. So too the attack of 9/11 would draw the United States into military conflict - a global battle against terrorism encompassing a war in Afghanistan and invasion of Iraq."(6)
It is interesting to note that Mosul, a major operational base in the Iraq war, was the location of the ancient city of Nineveh.
"Nineveh was the capital, the final resting place, the graveyard of the Assyrian Empire.

Ancient Israel would ultimately discover the danger it faced could not be solved by the power of its weapons or the thickness of its walls. The real danger was not outside its gates but within them. When the nation turned from God, it lost its protective covering from God. Apart from a return to God there would be no safety. By the time the ancient kingdom of Israel realized it, it would be to late."(7)
The chance at repentance on a national level was lost. A missed opportunity to avoid God's judgement and wrath.

Instead of  the nation repenting of its sins which had angered God, they responded to the initial breach of the nations walls during the first attack with defiance as indicated from this passage in the book of Isaiah:
The Lord has spoken out against Jacob; his anger has fallen against Israel. And the people of Israel and Samaria, who spoke with such pride and arrogance will soon know it. They said, "We will replace the broken down bricks of our ruins with finished stone, and replant the felled sycamore-fig trees with cedars." But the Lord will bring Rezin's enemies against Israel and stir up all their foes. The Syrians from the east and the Philistines from the west will bare their fangs and devour Israel. But even then the Lord's anger will not be satisfied. His fist is still poised to strike. Isaiah 9:8-12 NLT.
Johnathan Cahn, author of The Harbinger translates Isaiah 9:10 as follows based on the original Hebrew text which most closely resembles the New American Standard translation of the Bible. Words in parenthesis are the words used in the New American Standard version.
"The bricks have fallen (down),
But we will rebuild with hewn (smooth) stone;
The sycamores have been cut down,
But we will plant cedars in their place (But will replace them with cedars)."(8)
They did more than just miss an opportunity to repent and change. According to the above bible passage from Isaiah their response to the calamity of their broken walls was to defy God's warning judgement.
"Notice the words. They weren't vowing to just rebuild what was destroyed, but to make themselves stronger than before, to become invulnerable to any future attack. So what they are saying is this: 'We will not be humbled. We will not search our ways or consider the possibility that something could be wrong. Instead we will defy the calamity. We'll beat it back. We'll rebuild. We'll undo the damage as if it never happened. Not only will we not change our course - we'll pursue it with even more zeal. We'll come out of this calamity stronger than ever and rise to even greater heights than before."(9)
The words spoken by the prophet Isaiah 'We will replace the broken down bricks of our ruins with finished(hewn...ed.) stone, and re-plant the felled sycamore- fig trees with cedars' sealed the nations course and foretold Israel's future; one of God's impending judgement.

What it means is that the ancient prophet Isaiah had sounded the alarm of judgement and they were vowing to silence it.

One commentary explains it this way:
"Far from being humbled and becoming repentant as a result of the chastening judgments of the Lord they resolutely determined to withstand God and rebuild on an even grander scale: 'The bricks have crumbled, but we will rebuild with stone cut out of the quarry..'"(hewn stone).(10)
It is interesting to note the similarities between Isaiah's statements and statements of our political leaders regarding rebuilding after 9/11.
The New York governor would also allude to the stone cut out of quarry as he spoke his proclamation over the stone. "Today we take twenty tons of Adirondack granite, the bedrock of our state and place it as the foundation, the bedrock of a new symbol of American strength and confidence.(11)
One finds a similar spirit of defiance in American leaders after 9/11.
"In the words of one observer, the meaning behind the rebuilding of Ground Zero: "The developer who holds the lease has vowed that the towers will rise again... it would show us defiant in the face of terror, unbowed, climbing again gleaming into the sky taller, bigger, stronger.(12)

Notice the wording:unbowed, climbing into the sky, taller, bigger, stronger...defiant. In other words, the rebuilding of Ground Zero, the Tower, would be the embodiment of a defiant nation, just as in Isaiah 9:10(13) [rebuilding the breach in the wall with hewn stone and replacing the sycamores with cedars...ed].
This statement was both a boast and a vow.

Now fast forward to September 11, 2004, the third anniversary of the first breach of the nations homeland defenses in the continental United States. The nation was in the final stage of a presidential election. A prominent member of the Senate (John Edwards), campaigning on the Democratic ticket for the office of the vice presidency, was invited to speak at a gathering of the Congressional Black Caucus Prayer Breakfast, in Washington D.C., the nations capital.  He said the following:
"Good morning. Today, on this day of remembrance and mourning, we have the Lord's word to get us through:

The bricks have fallen
But we will rebuild with dressed stones
The sycamores have been cut down
But we will put cedars in their place
He also stated the following:
"Let me show you how we are building and putting cedars in those hallowed places.(15)
"And again:
And in a place where smoke once rose, you and I, we will see that cedar rising.(16))
"And again:
You will see that while those bricks fell and the sycamores cut down, our people are making those cedars rise." (17)
It is interesting to note that when the North Tower fell at Ground Zero:
...it sent debris and wreckage through the air toward a plot of land at the border of Ground Zero. It was unlike the other properties surrounding Ground Zero in that it wasn't covered with concrete, steel, or asphalt.. but with soil and grass. After the cloud of dust began to clear, police officers, rescue workers and onlookers gazed at a fallen tree;...(18)
It was in fact a sycamore tree.
So the Sycamore became a symbol of 9/11. It was labeled the Sycamore of Ground Zero.
Articles were written about it. In fact it was placed on public display. Crowds gathered around to see it. But they had no idea of the message it carried or how far-reaching that message was.(19)The mention of the sycamore in John Edwards speech is significant because in ancient Israel it symbolized the:
"sign of a fall...of a cutting down....an uprooting......an end. When it appeared in ancient Israel it prophesied the nation's downfall and the end of it's kingdom."(20)
His intent was to deliver an inspiring speech, words to encourage the nation during a time of mourning and remembrance. But by quoting this bible verse he was pronouncing judgement on America whether he realized it or not. We know that God works through people to carry out his will even though at the time they may not realize it. He was linking the history of America to that of ancient Israel. As a representative of America's national leadership he exemplified America's defiant attitude. Instead of being humbled by the calamity of 9/11 our nations leaders were embolden by it. This vow spoken was a manifestation of the rejection of God's calling, the sealing of the nations defiance and its course-- and thus the sealing of its end.

Again The real danger was not outside its gates but within them. When the nation turned from God, it lost its protective covering from God. Apart from a return to God there would be no safety. By the time the ancient kingdom of Israel realized it, it would be to late. The chance at repentance on a national level was lost. A missed opportunity to avoid God's judgement and wrath.

Instead of repenting of our sins as a nation and turning from our wicked ways: i.e abortion(murder),promoting and legalizing the homosexual life-style; corporate and political corruption and kickbacks, child pedophilia among our Congressman, Senators and elected government officials, banning of religious displays and activities; our leaders are defiant and will not alter course to please God. America has lost God's blessing as a nation and will be judged harshly for it. 9/11 was our breach in the wall: a warning of more serious judgments to come.

God uses other nations as a hammer and a fist to bring judgement. Again we have only to look at the history of the Jewish nation.

In Isaiah 5:24-30 Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary "Let not any expect to live easily who live wickedly. Sin weakens the strength, the root of a people; it defaces the beauty, the blossoms of a people. When God's word is despised, and his law cast away, what can men expect but that God should utterly abandon them? When God comes forth in wrath, the hills tremble, fear seizes even great men. When God designs the ruin of a provoking people, he can find instruments to be employed in it, as he sent for the Chaldeans, and afterwards the Romans, to destroy the Jews. Those who would not hear the voice of God speaking by his prophets, shall hear the voice of their enemies roaring against them.

If the America's leaders do not humble themselves before an almighty God, seek repentance, and reflect on why they have lost God's favor and if Christians do not stand up(cowardly, lukewarm, Christians in name only) to defend their Christian heritage, and do not push back against the evil overtaking their country through their political and corporate leaders; its fate has been sealed. God's judgement will come!

America's political leadership is utterly corrupt and rotten to the core. The Republican and Democratic parties are in the same bed. They do not represent American citizen's interest but work for a globalist cartel of international bankers hell bent on bringing the United States of America to it's knees by bringing it into international agreements(NAFTA, TPP, UN Treaties) which will strip Americans of their constitutionally guarantied rights and liberties and subjugate it's citizens to the tyranny of a new international order; a New Word Order consisting of 10 global regions called kingdoms under an atheist world government driven by the Illuminati (Satan's henchmen who do his bidding).

Turn off the controlled media(TV), go to the internet to alternative news sites and find the truth about America' leaders. They are leading America to ruin.

Because of this spirit of defiant pride and arrogance exhibited by Israel in the face of His former judgments, the Lord brought upon them even greater judgments. America's leaders have exhibited the same arrogance and defiance by the very words they have spoken. It's time to connect the dots. Surely God's hammer is about to fall.

We must come before the Lord and seek His face, His purposes, and His will for this land and to pray for America before we are subjected to foreign occupation under a world government.

I call on Christians everywhere to pray earnestly and not be intimidated by evil: to stand up for what they believe.
You will call upon me, and I will listen to you.
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:12-13 NIV

Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near.
Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts.
Let him turn to the LORD and he will have mercy on him,
and to our God, for he will freely pardon.
Isaiah 55:6-7. NIV
Seek the Lord while he may be found!

There will come a day soon when He will not listen to our cries and pleas for help if we do not earnestly seek His face and counsel.
Because I have called and you refused,
I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded,
Because you disdained all my counsel,
And would have none of my rebuke,
I will also laugh at your calamity;
I will mock when your terror comes,
When your terror comes like a storm,
And your destruction comes like a whirlwind,
When distress and anguish come upon you.
Then they will call on me but I will not answer;
They will seek me diligently but they will not find me.
Because they hated knowledge
And did not choose the fear of the LORD,
They would have none of my counsel
And despised my every rebuke.
Therefore they will eat the fruit of their own way. Proverbs 1:24-31 NKJV
Will America turn from her evil ways?

You are only just one heartbeat away from eternity. Where will you spend it?
