NONE DARE CALL IT MURDER

AMERICAN JUSTICE

On the last day of March, 2005 Terri Schiavo slipped into eternity. This 41-year-old mentally disabled woman was condemned to death by a low ranking Florida, County court probate judge named George Greer who ordered that she be starved to death through dehydration at the insistence of her husband Michael.

From James Dobson's Focus On The Family Action:(1)
Seven years after Terri's brain injury occurred, and five years after Michael successfully obtained a reputed million-dollar plus malpractice settlement(2) designated for his wife's care, he began saying he remembered that she didn't want to be sustained by a feeding tube.
Yet, there is no written record to substantiate the claim that this is what Terry desired.

Unknown to most people Terri's husband Michael lives with another woman in a common-law marriage and has fathered 2 children(3) by his common-law wife. Do you see a conflict of interest here?

If this were really Terri's desire why did Michael bother to file a malpractice suit and why did he wait for seven years after Terri's brain injury to decide to withdraw her feeding tube?

The liberal media in this country is "in bed with" the liberal judicial system.

From Dobson:
The media repeatedly told the American people that Terri was "brain dead" and that her brain had "turned to liquid."(4)
I work in the medical profession and have worked around "brain dead" individuals. The last phrase "turned to liquid" is pure nonsense! Their reporting also indicated that Terri was sustained by artificial means and was probably dying. She was not dying. This is pure fiction!

This description by the media flies in the face of Terri's actual condition according to the nurse that cared for her who stated that she had succeeded in saying a few words.(5) Brain dead individuals do not speak in words!

From Dobson:
It is important to recognize that Terri was not comatose..., was not on a respirator, was not unaware of her circumstances,...smiled faintly, and followed people and objects with her eyes.

The media's fascination with her death-watch ignored the real issues at stake in this case.

The media not only painted a false picture of Terri's condition by what they printed but ignored the unjust treatment that the court system delt to Terri during her last five years of life.

According to Dobson:
She was confined to her room for five years with the shades drawn, could not legally be photographed or videotaped, never received an MRI to determine the nature of her brain injury and her parents were not even allowed to take her out in the warmth of the sun or to an outing at the mall.(6)

Judge Greer had police posted at the door to keep anyone from bringing relief to Terri, and an entire family was arrested for attempting to give her a sip of water. Toward the end Michael even refused to let the priest provide communion for Terri, and instructed the police to arrest him if he tried. Shortly thereafter Terri died.

Not even a dog or a cat in the pound, or a prisoner on death row, would be treated with such cruelty.

And yet the media (CBS) aired a feature on the property rights of animals while President Bush flew back from Florida to Washington D.C. to sign pending legislation to save Terri's life.(7)

Is this American justice?
This cooperative effort between the judiciary and the media to kill an innocent woman is one of the greatest miscarriages of justice in American history.

What about the 25,000 other adults and 10,000 children in this country who are also fed and hydrated through a tube.(8)

Is every mentally disabled human being now fair game for death?

According to Dobson
It is eerily similar to what the Nazi's did in the 1930's. They began by "euthanizing" the mentally retarded, and from there only a small step to committing mass murder.

Thomas Jefferson warned repeatedly about the emergence of an out-of-control judiciary that would destroy the Constitution, and along with it, America's fundamental freedoms. He first became alarmed when, in 1803, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a landmark decision called Marbury v. Madison. It allowed the Justices to rule on the constitutionality of every legal issue, both inside and outside the government, giving themselves unrivaled imperial power. The concept of "checks and balances" that was intended to keep one branch from eclipsing the other two was no longer in force-- at least not with regard to the judiciary. Thereafter, the President, Congress and the will of millions of American people have been subservient to the rulings of five imperious justices, along with numerous lower court judges, who continue to issue their decrees beyond the reach of any authority.

In 1819 Jefferson wrote: "The Constitution... is a mere thing of wax in the hands of the judiciary which they may twist and shape into any form they please. It has long been my opinion, and I have never shrunk from its expression... that the germ of dissolution of our federal government is in the constitution of the federal judiciary; working like gravity by night and by day, gaining a little today and a little tomorrow and advancing its noiseless step like a thief, over the field of jurisdiction, until all shall be usurped."(9)

Justice Antonin Scalia has decried the manipulation of the Constitution by the other Justices. He said "Within the last 20 years, we have found... the right to abortion, which was so little rooted in the traditions of the American people that it was criminal 200 years--[and] the right to homosexual sodomy, which was so little rooted in the traditions of the American people that it was criminal for 200 years." (10)

Justice Scalia continued, "So it is literally ...true that the court has essentially liberated itself from the text of the Constitution, from the text and even from the traditions of the American people... and the Constitution is not a living organism, for Pete's sake. It's a legal document. And like all legal documents, it says some things and it doesn't say other things."(11)

Justice Scalia was referring to Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy who represents the extreme views of the other justices; namely O'Connor, Ginsberg, Souter, Breyer and Stevens.

Referring to the Supreme Court decision to strike down the law permitting capital punishment of minors Justice Kennedy made the following statement: "It is proper that we acknowledge the overwhelming weight of international public opinion against the juvenile death penalty."(12) Kennedy further promised that the Supreme Court of the United States would continue to look to "the laws of [selected] other countries and to international authorities" in reinterpreting the Constitution."(13)

Justice Kennedy and the other liberal members of the Supreme court should be impeached for such views! The Constitution is the supreme law of our country not international public opinion! Jefferson's prediction of judicial tyranny is upon us.

The Constitution means absolutely nothing to these judges.

There is no longer American justice. It died with the present Supreme Court. The Constitution is wax in the hands of the American judiciary and has been abolished in favor of "international public opinion".

Will anyone in the media dare ask of a judge: Are you a high degree Mason? It could be VERY revealing.(See the following article: The Tie That Binds.)

Conclusion:

I am reminded of this verse, "Do you rulers indeed speak justly? Do you judge uprightly among men? No, in your heart you devise injustice, and your hands mete out violence upon the earth. Psalm 58:1, 2.

Steve
