Come The Rapture
We'll Have The Earth To Ourselves

A recent bumper sticker with the above wording seen while driving down the road. The bumper sticker has two pentagrams enclosed in circles; one at each end of the bumper sticker. (To see it click Come The Rapture)

Each point on the pentagram represents the five elements of witchcraft: earth, wind, fire, water and spirit according to David J. Meyer of Last Trumpet Ministries.(1) David J. Meyer is a former occultist who has been saved by the grace of God and is now a converted Christian.

This bumper sticker is but one visual piece of evidence that the occult (New Age religion) believes that the rapture is a real phenomenon. Another piece of evidence is given below.

In 1991 David Bay, Director of Cutting Edge Ministries was invited to attend a seminar in Boston, Massachusetts given by Bill Lambert, New England Director of the Theosophical Society. The title of the seminar was " Possible and Probable Events In The Future". During the seminar "Lambert revealed that the occult leadership of the world was awaiting the event which the Christian Church calls the Rapture."(2)

David Bay asked Bill to explain the fate of persons, individuals, that could not accept Lord Maitreya as the "Christ"( i.e. the biblical Antichrist). Bill "likened them to a person in a dark room who had spent his entire life in a totally darkened room, the person's eyes would not be able to endure the light. The person would try to flee the light and go into another room which was dark."(3)

Bill stated these persons (Christians) will "elect to leave for another room."
Upon further questioning Bill replied "I do not know how it will happen, but these people will leave this dimension."(4)

After much thought David Bay concluded that "Bill was talking about the rapture of the church. He refused to say that these people would be killed, and we know the Bible teaches that Antichrist will not begin killing Christians until the mid-point of the Great Tribulation. But Bill is saying that the timing and departure of these people is immediately after the appearance of the "Christ" (i.e. the Antichrist); and the method of their leaving is mysteriously voluntary." Said David Bay "I believe the Guiding spirits of the New Age leaders have created this story"(i.e. leaving this dimension for another room) "as a means of explaining the world-wide Rapture of the Church."(5) Thus when the rapture occurs, the people remaining "will not credit God" for the disappearance but will be deceived by a story made up by the occult to explain away the disappearance.

What does the bible say about this disappearance.

"Scripture taken from the HOLY BIBLE, NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION.(unless noted differently) Copyright 1973, 1978,1984 International Bible Society. Used by permission of Zondervan Bible Publishers." Emphasis in selected verses not in original.

John 14:2-3 states "I am going there to prepare a place for you" (my Fathers house). "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." Our destination then is to be with God the Father and the Son in heaven.

Romans 8:19 states "The creation waits in eager expectation for the Sons of God to be revealed."

"Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep" (die), "but, we will all be changed--- in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will all be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality." I Corinthians 15:51-53.

Philippians 3:20-21 states "But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord, Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body."

"The Lord is near." Philippians 4:5

"When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you will also appear with him in glory." Colossians 3:11

1 Thessalonians 1:10 states "and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead--- Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath."

"For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when he comes?" I Thessalonians 2:19

"Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17.

1 Thessalonians 5:23 states "May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ."

"Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him."2 Thessalonians 2:1

I Timothy 6:14 states "Keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ."

"In the presence of God and Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and kingdom... 2 Timothy 4:1

Titus 2:13 states "While we wait for the blessed hope---the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ."

"so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him." Hebrews 9:28.

James 5:7 "Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord's coming."

"These have come so that your faith--- of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire---may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed."1 Peter 1:7

"And when the Chief Shepard appears you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away." 1 Peter 5:4

1 John 2:28 states "And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears (NIV) we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming."(KJV)

"Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we will see him as he is." 1 John 3:2.

Revelation 2:25 states "Only hold on to what you have until I come."

Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth." Revelation 3:10.

Which side of the fence are you on? Do you worship the earth, wind, fire, and water which will not save you from the coming wrath of God; or the living God who can keep you from the "hour of trial" that is going to come upon the whole world?

If those that practice witchcraft and worship the elements believe in the disappearance and Christians believe in the disappearance (rapture) then why don't you?
